Walking the Talk: Putting Theory Into Practice
Warnie Richardson and Carole Richardson

Within these pages, the stories told by these preservice educators invite us to understand the impact that personal knowlege has on what we teach and why we teach the way we do. As stories of professional practice and personal experience intertwine with the questions we continue to ask of ourselves and of our students, one question in particfular is highlighted again and again: How does our life experince continue to shape who we are as teachers? We believe that, in the stories collected here, this vitally important question is addressed sometimes implicitly, sometimes explicitly, but always honestly and passionately by twenty-five experienced and dedicatoed educators.
